I hadn't been to St. Jacob's in years. In fact I'm not sure I've ever been to St. Jacobs - possibly just the nearby towns of Elmira, Elora, Fergus etc. Home of "Home Hardware", my favourite Ontario success stories. But did you know that there is a Maple Syrup Museum there too? Who would have thunk it?
But the coolest thing was the model railroad layout of the town. Wow, Sid, my stepdad would have been in heaven.But most importantly, we found a really neat piece of furniture for our dining room. Bye-bye one more piece of IKEA crap. (No offence IKEA - it's just time for us to move on...)
